I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Louisiana State University.
I hold a Ph.D. in political science (Claremont Graduate University, 2014) with emphases in comparative politics, international security, and political methodology. During the 2014-15 academic year, I held a postdoctoral fellowship in the Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University,
My research areas include political violence and resistance organizations, informal institutions and political outcomes, democratization, and Middle East politics. I have sole-authored peer-reviewed articles that appear in the Journal of Politics, the Middle East Journal, and Studies in Conflict and Terrorism.
